When you sign up for an account to use our Service, we collect some personal Information, such as your name and your e-mail address. This information is stored in our database. This Information will never be disclosed to any third parties, with exception of the cases described in the section ‘Disclosure to third parties’ below.
Your e-mail address may be used to inform you of future maintenance or any issues regarding security, billing or your account. We will only send our newsletter to your e-mail address if you explicitly choose to receive it. If you choose to include a contact form on the website you create with the Service, anything submitted to this contact form will be send to your e-mail address.
The security of the customer credit card Information is handled by Stripe, an international payment services provider. Credit card Information is send to the payment services provider once, in encrypted form, when you set up your billing information. We do not save any credit card Information in our own database. Your credit card authorization can only be used by our Service and will only be used for the billing process.
When you sign up for an account to use our Service, we will gain access to the folder Apps/Sitebox.io in your Dropbox. Any files in this folder may be made publicly available on the internet, as is the purpose of the Service. We will do so when you choose to publish a website, but not before. You will be able to delete your website at any time after publishing and the Information will no longer be available from our Service.
The service is unable to read or write any files in your Dropbox except for the files in the Apps/Sitebox.io folder. As such, files outside this folder can never be changed or disclosed be the Service.
General Information about visits to the Service such as browser Information and the IP address is collected and stored using Google Analytics. This Information is used to create statistics about the country of origin, internet browsers, operating systems and other Information that can help us to improve the Service. We do not save any Information that can be linked directly to any particular visitor or user for this purpose.
We may disclose to parties outside of our Service any of the above Information when we have a good faith belief that disclosure is reasonably necessary to (a) comply with a law, regulation or compulsory legal request; (b) protect the safety of any person from death or serious bodily injury; (c) prevent fraud or abuse the Service or its users; or (d) to protect the Service’s property rights.
